Our pads are made in various wattages to suit the purpose to which they are to be used.
Our 10 and 20 watt pads will give a temperature rise of approximately 12°C above the air temperature, eg on a 10°C day the pad surface will rise to 22°C. Our 30 watt and 60 watt pads (brew industry) will give approximately 26°C rise in temperature.
FOR PLANT USE: Soil temperature is crucial to an optimum growing environment, whether you are germinating lettuce seeds or propagating orchids. These fully portable pads produce spectacular results in higher seed/cutting germination and vigorous root development on cuttings and plants. FOR PET CARE: Heat pads are also suitable for pet care. They are an effective, safe and economical way of keeping young, sick or older animals warm and healthy. Anti Chew cords are available to protect the electrical lead.
Do not cover the pad with any materials eg rugs pillows etc. Pictured above.
FOR BREW USE: Higher wattages are used for brew pads, giving a rise of approximately 26°C from ambient. Simply place your brew pot on top of pad. Allow pad to build in temperature. Brew Belts are also available - these are designed to wrap around pots or fermenters. Brew belts and pads are specifically designed to create a constant steady temperature to aid the fermentation process. Pads are available in rigid form or flexible. ANTI-FATIGUE USE: Perfect for work station, under a desk or home use. Can be placed on concrete or cold surfaces and will provide comfort and warmth for the user. Great for factories and cold environments to raise the comfort level for workers and keep productivity higher. Comes with a non-slip. No thermostat required. Safe and economical. Available in one size only: 770 x 1010mm.
Please note all our pads are not thermostatically controlled, therefore temperature will vary depending on the ambient temperature. We recommend pads be regulated by a thermostat (price below) where exact temperature control is needed.
